Tabley Concert debut

24 Apr 2015

The season starts with Altèri Chamber Choir

The 2015 season of The Tabley Concerts begins on Tuesday, 12 May with a debut performance by the Altèri Chamber Choir at 7pm in the Gallery at Tabley House.

Whilst it is their first performance at Tabley, the choir have performed all over the North West and Wales,  including Royal Northern College of Music, a quartet of cathedrals in Liverpool, Manchester, St.Asaph and Bangor and other stately homes at Bramall and Tatton.

The varied programme promises a 1,000-year range of pieces from early Plain Chant to Tudor church music, choral favourites from Handel and Vivaldi, right to the present day with specially commissioned pieces.

Wine and canapés will be served in the Portico with its lovely views across the Tabley parkland, perfect for an early Summer’s evening.

Tickets cost £20.
