Tom Bloxham MBE is keynote speaker at Creative Industries Federation roadshow

Join the Federation at the iconic Whitworth Gallery at 5pm on Monday, 27 April for the launch of the first of their gatherings of all the creative industries, public arts and cultural education from across the UK

Agenda

Once at the heart of the Industrial Revolution, a resurgent Manchester is increasingly seen as the epicentre of a 'Northern Powerhouse' and crucible of a new Creative Revolution.

  • 5-6pm - UKTI 'Going Global' - Maximising International opportunities
    An introduction from UKTI Regional Director Clive Drinkwater into how the UKTI supports the creative industries expansion into overseas territories, case studies from Manchester based K7 Media and Nine Lives Media.
  • 6pm - Introduction to the Federation - From Federation Chief Executive John Kampfner
  • 6.15pm - Keynote Speech - Tom Bloxham MBE, Chairman Urban Splash
  • 6.30pm - ' Manchester: Capital of the Creative Revolution?' - Panel discussion and Q&A featuring local experts from across the creative sector who will debate and engage with the wider audience to address the issues facing Manchester's creative future
