Shake up your wardrobe and SWISH!

21 Apr 2015

Come along to the Rutherford ‘Swish’ (Clothes Swap) in the Rutherford Room on Thursday, 23rd April (12:30 – 1:30pm)

For all of you who are updating your Spring/Summer wardrobe or clearing out your Autumn/Winter threads over Easter - don’t throw them away; save them for the 23rd April and “swish” them for other pre-loved items!

Admission £2 if you bring items, £3 if you do not, proceeds to be shared between the Wood Street Mission and Cornerstone Homeless Charity.

How does it work? You bring along any good quality items of clothing which you no longer wear/use (handbags, shoes, tops and dresses etc), you pay a donation which goes to a good cause, and you can help yourself to any items which colleagues have brought in which take your fancy! Donations can be dropped off at Rutherford Building on the morning of the event, or you can put them out as you arrive.

Any leftover items of clothing will be donated to the Wood Street Mission/Cornerstone, and will be put to good use by local families. Please feel free to also bring in items to be donated straight to charity, they are always in need of good quality children's & young adult clothing, baby equipment, bedding and toiletries.
