The Sustainability in the Curriculum Community of Practice

08 Apr 2015

You are invited to the next meeting on Wednesday, 22 April (2-4pm) in University Place, Room 5.211

Jimmy Brannigan

The cross-faculty Sustainability in the Curriculum Community aims to inspire University staff to critically and creatively engage with ways of integrating sustainability (social as well as environmental) into the curriculum. In doing so, it draws on the thinking, ideas and experiences of our staff and individuals and groups beyond the University. The community meets on a Wednesday every month during semester time.

You are warmly invited to the next Sustainability in the Curriculum meeting, where you’ll have an opportunity to explore ways in which your teaching may currently relate to aspects of sustainability and how those links may be further developed. We’ll evaluate the framework(s) we use for surfacing these relationships and consider ways of honing these. Jimmy Brannigan from Net Positive Futures will be joining us to facilitate this meeting.

Do come along if you are keen to explore links between your discipline/teaching and sustainability but are unsure where to start or if you are already exploring these links and want to share them with others.

Please register via Eventbrite (useful to ascertain numbers but not essential):
