Directorate for the Student Experience finds eventful ways of thanking its staff

To help build a sense of community, the Directorate for the Student Experience has created an annual programme of Directorate-wide events for its staff

The events are designed to bring together its staff to celebrate their successess and recognize and value everyone’s contributions. This annual programme includes informal ‘thank you’ events for each Division, which are hosted by the Director of DSE, Dr Tim Westlake, throughout the year. The format of the event varies according to the preferences of each Division.

In response to feedback from DSE colleagues in Residential Services, a series of breakfast thank you events took place at several halls of residence across campus. Colleagues working in this area are often unable to attend events on the main campus and these breakfast events have given them a chance to meet up with colleagues from other halls of residence.
