Belinda Rowlands organises regular coffee mornings where academics and support staff can get together and raise money for their chosen charity of the day

Belinda Rowlands

Belinda works in Community Based Medical Education at Manchester Medical School. As members of a socially responsible institute, her colleagues take great pride in actively supporting various different charities.

In raising awareness of their social welfare, Belinda organises regular coffee mornings where academics and support staff can get together and raise money for their chosen charity of the day. And as a reward, they get to enjoy some pleasant company and a slice of delicious cake.

Belinda said: "Together, we have raised money for Wood Street Mission, RSPCA, Cancer UK, Comic Relief, Sport Relief, Children in Need and Macmillan. And that’s only to name a few! I would like to thank all my colleagues for their generous donations to these fantastic causes and long may it continue!"
