Promote University careers fairs to students

Please promote to our students two upcoming fairs: the Law Fair and the Postgraduate Study Fair
Organised by the Careers Service, and taking place at Manchester Central (formerly GMEX), both fairs are open to students from all degree disciplines and are designed to introduce exciting job and further study opportunities to our students.
The Law Fair
On Tuesday, 18 November, The Law Fair will see around 100 exhibitors: a wide range of law firms offering training contracts and placements, legal course providers from throughout the UK, as well as representatives from the Bar who will give information on how to train to become a barrister. Again, this fair is open to all students – both law and non-law students as many employers seek a diverse workforce.
The Postgraduate Study Fair
On Wednesday, 19 November, The Postgraduate Study Fair will welcome 107 exhibitors from the UK and overseas. Our students will be able to get advice on postgraduate courses, and related issues including funding, studying overseas, getting into teaching, and what is involved in studying for a Masters or a PhD. Hopefully this will encourage some of our students to seriously consider postgraduate study as an option.
