As the seasons change, it's time to shake up your wardrobe and SWISH!

05 Nov 2014

Following on from the success of the last event, Wednesday, 5 November (12.30–1.30pm) will see the seasonal Rutherford ‘Swish’ (Clothes Swap) in the Rutherford Room

For all of you who are updating your autumn/winter wardrobe or clearing out your summer threads: don’t throw them away - save them for 5 November and “swish” them for other pre-loved items!

Admission is £2 if you bring items and £3 if you do not - proceeds will be shared between the Wood Street Mission and Cornerstone Homeless Charity.

How does it work? You bring along any good quality items of clothing which you no longer wear/use (handbags, shoes, tops and dresses etc), you pay a donation which goes to a good cause, and you can help yourself to any items which colleagues have brought in which take your fancy!

Any leftover items of clothing will be donated to the Wood Street Mission/Cornerstone, and will be put to good use by local families.

Please feel free to also bring in items to be donated straight to charity: they are always in need of good quality children's and young adults' clothing, baby equipment, bedding and toiletries.

Feel free to pass this information on to friends and colleagues who might be interested. If anyone would like to volunteer to help me take everything down afterwards or take the donations to Cornerstone/Wood Street, extra pairs of hands would be most appreciated!
