Star Narrowboats offers discount on their two narrowboats (Gloria and Queenie!) which are moored on the historical Bridgewater Canal in Boothstown (9 miles from Manchester).  They offer their own unique blend of style and homely cosiness enabling you to relax from everyday life. Gloria and Queenie are available for short or longer breaks and their location offers quick, stress-free access to canal routes that provide lots of opportunities for beginners and more experienced boaters.

Final reminder! The Buy Art Fair will be held in their new home, the iconic Old Granada Studios, Manchester 26-28 September. Eighty galleries will be exhibiting the work of over 500 artists and with prices from £50 - £5,000+.  It’s FREE entry but you must pre-register at buyartfair.co.uk for your ticket.  University staff can also enjoy a complimentary glass of wine on presentation of their staff card at the Fair.
