Staff from across the University are proudly wearing their Ask Me badges and swotting up on the information they need to know in order to answer the many weird and wonderful questions that will come their way during Orientation and Welcome
We have done the best we possibly can to prepare you by putting on Campus Tours and Ask Me Information sessions for staff but if you have missed all of these then we have a new intranet site that contains lots of information that can help you:
You probably won’t be able to anticipate all the different questions you will be asked and it is unlikely that you will be able to memorise everything there is to know, but that isn’t necessarily the most important thing! What is most important is that each and every student receives a positive and friendly experience for all our Ask Me ambassadors. So, if you don’t know the answer to a question then use your initiative, knowledge and network of contacts to try and find out or take them to one of the official Ask Me desk who will be able to help.

- University Place – the Welcome desk in the drum
- Students’ Union – the foyer as you enter the building from the Oxford Road entrance
- Renold building – on the concourse outside Enigma café
