DSE Harriers in the running to raise money for The Christie

On 7 September 2014, three colleagues from the DSE will take part in the Great North Run to raise lots of money for The Christie charity

The DSE Harriers - Emily McIntosh (Student Support Advice & Guidance Manager, The Atrium), Paul Burns (Accommodation Office Manager) and Lizzie Todd-Davies (Student Support & Advice Graduate Intern, The Atrium) - will be pounding the pavements over the Tyne Bridge beneath the Red Arrows in this gruelling half marathon (13.1 miles).

They chose the The Christie charity because it does lots of great work for those affected by cancer and they wanted to help as much as possible. Any money raised can help fund life-changing and life-saving projects, so every bit helps.
