Interested in becoming an Harassment Advisor?

15 Aug 2014

The University is increasing the number of voluntary harassment advisors – as one of the actions of the behaviours group of the Staff Survey

All staff and students have the right to work and study in a safe and supportive environment. The University does not tolerate any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation. With a campus population of close to 50,000 we need to ensure we have a robust support system for those who may need additional information and advice when it comes to bullying and harassment.

Harassment Advisors provide a confidential information service to staff and students on issues relating to harassment discrimination and bullying and the expansion of the current harassment advisor network will mean we have a broader knowledge base across more sections and areas of the University.

More information about what Harassment Advisors can and cannot do, along with details of what is required and expected from volunteer harassment advisors, can be found here:

A full information session will take place on 30 September at 1.30pm.
