Help to make Royal Institution Christmas Lectures archive available to all

13 Aug 2014

Take part in the public vote on Facebook by Friday, 15 August to win funding for this project

The Collections and Heritage team at the Royal Institution have been working hard over the past year to digitise the archive of Christmas Lectures for the Ri Channel. Their aim is to make this vast collection of unique footage freely available to anyone anywhere in the world.

Fourteen series have already been digitised and are now online, including the series given by the President in 1998:

However, as the lectures have been recorded for television since 1966, they still have many more to complete.
To help fund this project, they are delighted to have reached the final stages of the EMC Heritage Trust Project, the results of which will be decided by a public vote.

You can help them secure as many votes as possible by taking part in the public vote, which will close on Friday, 15 August.
The vote is being run via Facebook, so you will only be able to vote if you have a Facebook account:
