All PSS colleagues need to be concerned about enhancing the student experience whether or not they deal directly with students. This interactive  session will consider ways of equipping those working in PSS roles to have a deeper awareness of how students’ understand higher education with a view to enhancing the student experience. We will explore how workshop participants understand higher education and whether this matches students’ understanding in the current climate of fee paying and what the students’ expectations are of higher education as their financial contribution increases. There will also be an opportunity to reflect on how PSS colleagues might improve the student experience in relation to these issues.
