Changes to the Flexible Working Policy

From 30 June 2014 the statutory right to request to work flexibly has been extended to all staff who have worked at the University for six months
Previously this right only applied to staff with caring responsibilities for children or family members.
What difference will this make?
It means that the reason for requesting a change to your working hours or working pattern does not matter – all requests will be treated equally - the deciding factor is how the requested change would affect the service.
