The Faculty of Humanities have organised a seminar and networking exhibition considering Higher Education and the Social Economy which is taking place on 4 June 2014 in the Kanaris Lecture Theatre at Manchester Museum.

The ‘Higher Education and the Social Economy’ seminar is organised by The University of Manchester and the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) in partnership with UnLtd.

It will bring together researchers, policy makers and practitioners to ask how higher education can contribute to both the development of the social economy sector and what this sector can offer to the agendas of universities.

The seminar will be of interest to practitioners, policy makers, students and researchers and will include presentations from leading speakers in the field, opportunities to hear from successful spin out social enterprises and meet colleagues interested in maximising the benefits of where HE meets SE.
