Pint of Science - a science festival at pubs near you

08 May 2014

What better way to enjoy science than with a pint in your hand?

Pint of Science

New scientific discoveries are happening all the time, fascinating developments which will change the future of the human race.  But how often are you given the chance to really understand how these discoveries are made and what they mean?

The Pint of Science Festival 2014 will see some of the worlds best scientific researchers travel to pubs across the UK to discuss their latest findings and they will hit Manchester from 19-21 May, holding 3 consecutive nights of events across the city encompassing the hottest scientific topics with world leading experts!

For just £2.20 a ticket you can learn about topics ranging from the stigma surrounding mental health, how personalised medicine is revolutionising cancer treatment or how studying the history of the moon is helping the planning of future space flight.  You can listen, join in games and quizzes or just enjoy a chat over a pint.
