Cycle to Work Scheme - Rockadelic rocky road treats – Win a massage – The Wanted – Results of Cake and Bake Show Prize Draw

Cycle to Work scheme

Cycle to Work Scheme

If the warmer weather is making you feel more active, you may be considering the Cycle to Work scheme which enables you to save money on the purchase of bikes and accessories and, since June 2013, just safety equipment only. This is a 'salary exchange' scheme, so this reduces the amount of tax and NI paid so that savings of around 25-35% on the list price of the cycle and safety equipment can be made, depending on your tax band.

You can also try discounted folding bike hire with Brompton Bike from Piccadilly or take advantage of the wide range of health and fitness and wellbeing options open to members of staff at the University.

Rockadelic

We all like treats and Rockadelic make a delicious selection of Rocky Road treats in Manchester. You can choose from flavours such as salted caramel, cookies and cream, mini eggs, creme eggs and peanut butter. They can cater for parties, office events, conferences and wedding favours. Visit the Rockadelic page for how to order and get 10% discount.

The Wanted

Kindertransport

The Opera House has an offer for the play Kindertransport. This has received excellent reviews earlier in the tour. Tickets are £15 each for the best available seats including stalls and circle seating (£15 each only available for Tuesday, 25 March and Wednesday, 26 March, 7.30pm shows).
