AuditFutures: What would make you proud to be part of a profession?

26 Feb 2014

Event on 10 March 2014 (3-6pm) at Manchester Business School

  • Does audit need to change?
  • Can we have a society without audit?
  • What would the accounting firm of the future look like?
  • What are the qualities and behaviours that society needs from the professions?

Audit professionals, academics and students will come together at an event hosted by Manchester Business School and Audit Futures on 10 March.

The event aims to inspire attendees to challenge the issues facing audit today and think about the future of the profession. Its free and open to audit and accounting professionals and all students - whether you are studying a PhD in chemistry or a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The session will be dynamic and participatory, featuring small group discussions, philosophical questions and creative scenarios around topical issues facing society and accountancy today. It’ll be a refreshing opportunity to challenge assumptions and discuss new ideas around audit.

The event will be followed by refreshments and networking.
