Blackboard courses for 2011/12 and earlier will disappear on 1 December 2013

What is affected?

Blackboard 9 courses for the academic year 2011/12 and earlier.

What is happening?

According to the course life cycle, these course units will be made unavailable to staff.

When will this happen?

You will lose access to these course units on 1 December 2013.

All course units for the 2012/13 academic year will continue to be available until 1 December 2014.

The table below outlines the course life cycle:

2011/2012 academic year

Semester 1, All Year and Semester 2 courses no longer available to students

2 September 2012

Semester 1, All Year courses and Semester 2 courses no longer available to staff

1 December 2013

2012/2013 academic year

Semester 1, All Year and Semester 2 courses no longer available to students

8 September 2013

Semester 1, All Year courses and Semester 2 courses no longer available to staff

1 December 2014

2013/2014 academic year

Blackboard course spaces become available to students

9 September 2013

Semester 1 week 1 (teaching begins)

23 September 2013

Semester 1, All Year and Semester 2 courses no longer available to students

14 September 2014

Semester 1, All Year courses and Semester 2 courses no longer available to staff

1 December 2015
