Médecins Sans Frontières and the contradictions of humanitarian aid

Rony Braumna, Executive Director of the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) at the University of Manchester, is to give a public lecture on 5th December at 4pm

Professor Braumna was one of the early members of Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) and was President from 1982 to 1994.

He was a Professor at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris from 1994 to 1997 and is now scientific advisor in the Paris School of international Affairs Sciencespo.

At this event he will be talking about his work with Médecins Sans Frontières and impartiality within humanitarianism, followed by a Q&A session.

This Event is to be hosted by the Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières Manchester at the Samuel Alexander Lecture Theatre, University of Manchester on 5th December at 4pm.
