The death has been announced of Grigor McClelland, the first director of Manchester Business School
Professor McClelland led MBS from 1965 to 1977, during which time he helped to shape one of Britain's first two major business schools, taking an innovative approach to education for management.
Grigor’s family is planning a Celebration of his Life, taking place in Newcastle in the New Year.
On 8 April 2011, Manchester Business School celebrated his career and contribution to business and management education.
