Collection Bites at Manchester Museum

28 Sep 2013

Join Dr Nick Merriman, Director of the Manchester Museum, for a unique insight into prehistoric Britain on Wednesday 2 October, from 1pm to 2pm.

Flint: Hewn through Nature.

View Palaeolithic hand axes half a million years old, tiny blades from the end of the last Ice Age and tools used by the first farmers in Britain and embark upon a journey exploring humankind’s relationship with nature and the development of culture.

Collection Bites is a free event on the first Wednesday of the month, joined by a series of guest speakers for lunchtime conversations discussing key objects from the collection.
