Are we all doomed?

The question being posed at this year’s Doubleday Lecture

The Manchester Medical School Doubleday Lecture 2013 is taking place on Wednesday 25 September, featuring the highly acclaimed Professor Sunetra Gupta.

She will deliver the lecture ‘Pandemics: are we all doomed?’ at the event which is open to staff and students from across the University.

Sunetra Gupta is Professor of Theoretical Epidemiology in the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford, and a Royal Society Wolfson Research Fellow.

The Doubleday Lecture is held in the memory of former student Edwin Doubleday who tragically died whilst undertaking his course at Manchester Medical School.

The event will take place in Lecture Theatre A in the Roscoe Building, starting at 2pm and closing with tea and coffee at 3pm. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
