The Halle Orchestra Live at Jodrell Bank Observatory

Britain's oldest orchestra invites you to a wonderful summer's evening of classical music under the stars on Saturday, 31 August.

The evening will include “Close Encounters” – a space and sci-fi movie themed programme, entrance to science talks, activities and visitors centre, and a fireworks display by award-winning Walk the Plank.

In a truly unique ‘proms’ experience, one of Britain's oldest symphony orchestra will perform an out-of-this-world concert, in a setting like no other. Against the majestic backdrop of the Lovell telescope, enjoy an unforgettable night of shooting fireworks, cosmology and picnics at the world-renowned Jodrell Bank Observatory on Saturday, 31 August.
