Film screening of Dream On (certificate 15)

A new coming of age film from TLA Releasing will be shown on Friday, 9 August (7.30pm) in the John Thaw Studio Theatre, Martin Harris Centre (part of Manchester Pride Fringe 2013).
Polar opposite teenagers Paul and George meet and fall in love on a campsite in Wales during the summer of '88 in this quintessentially British drama from first-time director Lloyd Eyre-Morgan.
The young lovers make a pact to return the following summer and run away together, but when only Paul shows up, he vows to find his young lover and sets off with his best friend in tow and his overbearing mother not far behind.
If they think running away is going to be easy, they’d better dream on.
This film screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director and principal cast members.
