Student email accounts moving to Office 365 service

Between 2 and 5 August, IT Services will be working with Microsoft to transfer student email accounts to the Office 365 service which will bring with it some new features and benefits.
How will this affect our students? The impact for our students during the changeover will be minimal, however we’ve prepared an FAQ document:
- The migration process and why this is happening;
- The benefits of the new service;
- What students will experience in terms of accessing their email during the migration period.
The document also answers some questions you may have from your own (student support) perspective, as well as providing a contact for any further queries.
A similar FAQ document has been produced for students themselves and will be communicated in the run up to the changeover, primarily via My Manchester.
