Improving discussions about resuscitation in COVID-19

Description

 Ethics Ref: 2021-11386-19227

If your relative or loved one fell seriously sick during the COVID-19 pandemic, and you have experience discussing the issue of resuscitation with a healthcare professional we would like to hear from you.

We are a research team from the Universities of Manchester and Newcastle. We want to understand people’s experiences discussing resuscitation with health care professionals during COVID-19.

The issue of communication about resuscitation has been especially important during the pandemic. By listening to relatives and carers perspectives of what went well and what did not go well, lessons can be learned.

If you feel ready to talk about your experiences and you are over 18, we would like to invite you to take part in a one-to-one interview.
