Calling All Student Society Execs: Share Your Experience in a 1-Hour Study!

Did you hold an executive role in a student society in the 2025-6 academic year? Would you like to be involved in a research project exploring how student society executives make sense of their academic abilities, leadership experiences, and future aspirations? If so, I would love to hear from you!
Who will conduct the research?
My name is Lydia Mackin, and I am a postgraduate student on the MEd Psychology of Education course at the University of Manchester.
What would you be asked to do if you took part?
- Take part in a one-to-one online interview with me (Lydia), to talk about your experiences of holding an executive role, and the beliefs you hold about your academic abilities and student identity.
- The interview would last approximately 1 hour, taking place using Microsoft Teams and can be arranged at a date and time that is convenient for you.
