Exploring Dual Process Theory in Creativity

We’re looking for UK undergraduates to join a 30-minute online study exploring how cognitive abilities affect creative thinking. Conducted by Jia Song, a PhD student at the Manchester Institute of Education

Who can join?

  • 18+ and a current UK university undergraduate (not in a diploma/certificate program), with 6+ months in the UK education system
  • Not using medications (e.g. antidepressants, antipsychotics) or therapies (e.g. psychotherapy) that might influence cognitive performance.
  • Have a laptop, desktop or tablet (e.g. iPad) with a stable internet connection, compatible browser (Chrome/Firefox), and a quiet environment.
  • Can complete written tasks independently in English, including if you have a neurodiverse condition (e.g. Autism, ADHD), provided you can participate online.

What’s involved?

  • Complete a 30 minute online study with cognitive and creativity task
