Manchester Museum’s Collections Search is offline for urgent and essential maintenance

Manchester Museum is currently undergoing an ambitious £15 million transformation, called hello future, and we will reopen to the public in February 2023. Our staff are working hard to deliver hello future, therefore, enquiries may take longer than usual to respond to (please allow at least 20 working days).  

Alongside our exciting transformation, we are working on a new Collections Search that will provide a substantially improved user experience and this will be available in time for the 2023/24 academic year. We’re also creating a new research studio and associated displays, and improved lecture and seminar spaces.
