Celebrate, connect and discover how you can play a part
Colleagues across our University make our Staff Networks what they are - supportive spaces where people can share experiences, shape change and build community. Wednesday 13 May is Staff Network Day, and we’re shining a light on the vital role these colleague‑led groups play in helping the University listen, learn and act on the things that matter.
Our Staff Networks bring people together from across campus, offering connection, confidential peer support and opportunities to influence our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work. Each group meets regularly and feeds into the University’s EDI Forum and EDI Committee, ensuring colleagues’ voices are heard at every level.
Get involved!
On Wednesday 13 May, drop into the Nancy Rothwell Building event space:
- Visit our Staff Network stalls: meet co‑chairs and members, ask questions, hear about upcoming activity and find out how to get involved. Drop in anytime between 11am and 2pm - no registration needed.
- EDI Framework Q&: a dedicated session on our new, upcoming EDI Framework for all Staff Network members, 1pm–2pm in Nancy Rothwell Lecture Theatre A, or join virtually. Please register here in advance.
