Events
Wellbeing workshops for colleagues and students
The University’s counselling service invites you to a series of free mindfulness, meditation and stress management workshops for colleagues and students to support their mental health.

Research Café – Religion, Culture and Community
This St George’s Day, Creative Manchester and the Manchester Museum will discuss how cultural institutions and faith spaces bring people together, build understanding, and nurture a shared sense of belonging.

Public engagement community of practice
Are you interested in public engagement? Would you like to hear and share some inspiring ideas and practice? Would you like to network with other like-minded people interested in engagement? Join our community of practice to share, learn and connect around the theme of inclusive practice.

People as Infrastructure: The Architectural Wisdom of Informality
Explore the spontaneous and ingenious adaptations found in China’s urban marketplaces, where everyday materials become functional art.

Research Data Conversations with Dr Victoria Yorke-Edwards (UCL) and Dr Christopher T. Tibbs (University of Exeter)
Dr Victoria and Dr Chris discuss their roles as research data stewards at UCL and Exeter, entering the profession, and the data stewardship infrastructure in the UK today.

Submit your suggestion to uninews@manchester.ac.uk by 25 of each month to feature in the following month. Please send us a short description (max 30 words) and any relevant links you may have too.
Please note that we unfortunately cannot guarantee your submission will feature, but we will do our best to feature as many as we can.
