Car parking transfers available for current permit holders

To improve the current capacity issues across University car parks, the Car Park Permit Office is now able to offer a small number of transfers for current permit holders only.

Current permit holders will be able to request a transfer to the following car parks:

  • Aquatics Centre (Car Park B)
  • Dilworth Street (Car Park F)

Anyone wishing to transfer to one of the above car parks, must email carparking@manchester.ac.uk or call in to G.002 Beyer Building to request a transfer application form.

All applications will be assessed together, and allocated based on several criteria, which will be checked, including:

  • Impact on capacity at the permit holders current car park
  • Building location
  • Length of time a permit has been held

Due to demand, we cannot guarantee a transfer to your preferred car park.

Applications are due in no later than Friday 24 April 2026.

Applications will then be assessed, and all applicants will be contacted with the outcome by Friday 1 May 2026.
