Last chance to apply for Manchester Gold
23 Mar 2026
Applications close on Friday 3 April for the spring intake of our mentoring scheme
Manchester Gold, our flagship mentoring scheme, connects mentors and mentees from across the University, empowering colleague growth and encouraging the sharing of invaluable experience.
Last year’s Your Voice Matters survey showed that only 47% of respondents feel their career aspirations are being met, and just 55% have regular conversations about their personal and professional development. Due to your feedback, and alongside high demand, we opened two intakes for the scheme; one in spring, and one in autumn.
A current Manchester Gold mentor:
"It helps me to recognise the wealth of experience I have, which has a positive impact on my own self-confidence."
