Register your interest in joining a Microsoft 365 Copilot early cohort
23 Mar 2026
We are inviting colleagues to register their interest in joining a Microsoft 365 Copilot early cohort, to directly shape how the technology is introduced across our community.
In January, we announced a sector-first collaboration with Microsoft to provide Microsoft 365 Copilot access and training for colleagues and students.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI assistant built into familiar Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, working alongside the documents, emails and information colleagues already use.
We’re taking the approach of an early cohort as introducing technology at this scale requires a careful and structured roll out. Insights gathered from the early cohorts will ensure that colleague feedback and insights help shape the guidance and training provided to help everyone use it confidently and responsibly.
What are the early cohorts?
Participants will receive early access to Microsoft 365 Copilot and will help the programme team to:
- Explore practical use cases across different roles
- Test training and learning resources
- Gather feedback to shape guidance and support
- Ensure the right guidance and training is in place before wider roll out
Register your interest
Colleagues who would like to take part in an early Microsoft 365 Copilot cohort can now register their interest.
Register your interest in joining an early cohort.
Alongside gaining early access to Microsoft 365 Copilot, participants will be expected to:
- Attend a small number of guided learning sessions or webinars
- Explore how Microsoft 365 Copilot could support their day-to-day work
- Share feedback and experiences with the programme team
- Help identify useful examples and use cases
Places are limited and those interested must register by 2 April 2026.
Further information about the wider Microsoft 365 Copilot roll out will be shared soon.
