Windows 10 PCs to be disconnected from the network

Microsoft Windows 10 officially went out of support in October 2025.
IT Services will soon start to revoke University network access to Windows 10 laptops and desktop PCs, whether these are managed by the University or standalone self-managed PCs.
Many University managed Windows 10 PCs had an extended support licence installed to ensure temporary support up to October 2026. However, this was a temporary measure. Over the next few months, IT Services will start to revoke network access to all Windows 10 laptops and desktop PCs which are not receiving security updates.
If you are using a Windows 10 PC, you must arrange for its update or replacement as soon as possible, otherwise you will not be able to access network resources from it.
