Do you still need to upgrade to Windows 11, or dispose of any University IT equipment?

19 Feb 2026

If so, join IT Services for a chat and share your thoughts, concerns and questions with our friendly team of IT Services experts

On Tuesday 24th February, we invite all staff to stop by and connect with us in Nancy Rothwell Building on the ground floor foyer in front of south entrance at any time between 10am and 2pm.

Our knowledgeable colleagues from relevant areas within IT Services will be on hand to able to guide you on any preparations you need to make for your Win11 upgrade and work through the processes with you, to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.

We will also have resource available to execute the upgrade with you at the time should you wish to do so (subject to demand). We will also be able to take your general ITS questions, listen to your feedback, and discuss upcoming improvements. No appointment is needed - simply drop by our stand and join the conversation.

Additionally, in support of the University’s commitment to a zero-carbon future and to tackle the growing tide of e-waste, we are offering colleagues the opportunity to drop-off any unwanted electronic devices, equipment, and peripherals that are owned by the University.

Your voice matters to us and this is the perfect opportunity to shape the future of IT provision at our University.

If you aren't able to join us, we'd still love to hear your feedback so please spare us a few minutes and complete this short survey which can be found here. All those who submit a survey response will be entered into a draw where the prize is a brand new iPad! The lucky winner will be notified week commencing 2 March.

We look forward to seeing you.
