New development opportunities for managers and people leaders
The new People Leader Development Suite offers focused learning and development opportunities for colleagues who manage people.
In our Your Voice Matters Survey, 47% of colleagues said their career aspirations are being met, and 68% feel equipped with the training they need. We’ve listened – and created this new opportunity to empower people leaders with the skills to elevate colleague engagement and enhance performance.

People Leader Induction
This induction is designed for new people leaders, both external new starters and internal colleagues stepping into a relevant role. This will be a three-hour face-to-face workshop that covers the following:
- People Leader accountabilities
- People Culture
- Principles of effective people leadership
- Supporting colleague motivation and engagement
- The role of transformational conversations
- Overview of key resources and development opportunities including Manager Essentials

‘Focus On’ Sessions
These are interactive face-to-face workshops focusing on developing key leadership skills in tactical areas. Our first two topics cover Conversations and Performance:

From January we will be launching, a comprehensive blended learning and development programme, delivered over six months covering key people management topics including:
Self-awareness and Impact, emotional intelligence, inclusivity & bias, motivating others, psychological safety, stress & wellbeing, effective feedback, coaching, high performing teams, communication, change and agility.
