Help give children from low-income families a happy and memorable Christmas by donating a gift
Every child deserves a magical Christmas. Each year Wood Street Mission come together to help local children from struggling families enjoy a happy, memorable day. Families across Manchester and Salford visit Wood Street Mission to choose gifts for their children from the wonderful selection donated by supporters like you.
With your help, we can make sure thousands of children wake up to something special.
How you can help
The best way to support is by donating new toys, gifts or books suitable for children aged 0-14. Chocolates, selection boxes and wrapping paper are also much appreciated. We kindly request that you leave items unwrapped.
Please try to donate as early as you can so we can support as many families as possible.
Below we've outlined the three ways you're able to help.
Donate to a drop-off point
Three drop off points will be set up on campus to make donating easy. Simply bring your gifts to work and drop off at one of the following locations:
Where: Reward, 1st floor, Simon Building
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am-3pm
Last day for donations Thursday 4 December - 3pm
Where: People Services Reception, 2nd floor, Simon Building
When: Monday to Friday 10am-3pm (closed daily 12.30-1.30pm)
Last day for donations Thursday 4 December - 3pm
Where: Pensions, G.029, John Owens
When: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-3pm
Last day for donations Wednesday 3 December - 3pm

Working remotely or no time to go shopping? You can donate gifts online via Give Today using the button below.
Choose a gift from the wish list and the Give Today team will make sure your donation is delivered directly to Wood Street Mission's door ready for families visiting in the new year.

Make a financial donation
Monetary gifts help Wood Street Mission buy exactly what is needed when stocks run low. They provide struggling families with children’s clothes, bedding and baby equipment, as well as toys and books which are important for children’s wellbeing and development.
