Planning your end of year celebration on-campus and beyond
As November begins, teams across the University are gearing up to plan celebrations that bring colleagues together and mark the end of the year. To support these seasonal gatherings, the University contributes £20 per person as a token of appreciation for your valuable contributions throughout the year towards the cost of a meal or activity.
Each School, Faculty, Directorate, or Department is responsible for organising their own events and allocating funding from local budgets. For full details on funding and guidelines, please refer to the Non-Business Employee Entertaining Policy.
Inclusive Event Guidance
It’s important that everybody feels welcome to join and enjoy end of year plans. We encourage organisers to check our Inclusive Event guidance, and speak with their team to ensure individual accessibility requirements are considered.
