Book now: Townhall on our Fundraising and Volunteering campaign
10 Nov 2025
Join us on Tuesday, 18 November, 11am–12pm for a townhall introducing the University’s first ever fundraising and volunteering campaign.
Hosted by President & Vice-Chancellor, Duncan Ivison, this interactive session will explore how the campaign helps us deliver on our Manchester 2035 strategy and how we all play a part.
You’ll hear directly from senior leaders, beneficiaries and colleagues driving this work forward. Together, we’ll explore how philanthropy and volunteering accelerate impact across research, innovation, student inclusion, and culture and community.
What to expect
- An introduction to the campaign’s goals and priorities.
- Stories of philanthropic and volunteering impact from members of our University community.
- Practical ways to get involved - from advocacy to volunteering days, through to taking on your own fundraising challenges.
- A chance to ask questions using Mentimeter, whether sharing your perspective on our fundraising areas or how the campaign may impact your work.
Book your place
- Fill out your details on the form to register for in-person or online attendance.
- If in-person places fill up, you’ll be added to the waiting list and sent the link to join online.
- A calendar invite with the event location and opportunity to pre-submit your question will be sent ahead of the event.
- A hybrid option is available for those who cannot be on campus, but we encourage you to attend in-person if possible.
Your voice matters. Be part of the conversation on Tuesday, 18 November, 11am–12pm.
