Share feedback to enhance your digital experience

30 Oct 2025

We want to hear from you to understand your digital experiences in your work and teaching to help shape improvements across the University.

JISC

This year’s Jisc Digital Experience Insights surveys are now open for you to provide feedback on your digital experience to inform what improvements would help everyone’s University experience.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, and your responses are anonymous.

Does your role involve teaching or the curriculum?

  • Find out how you would like digital technologies to be used in learning and teaching,
  • Understand how you use our digital environment and services, and ways these could be improved,
  • Identify and address problems that create barriers to your digital teaching practices,
  • Better understand how we can support your digital capability needs,

Or are you part of professional services?

  • Find out how you would like digital technologies to be used in your work,

For more information about this survey and how we will use the results, please view our FAQs. We will be launching this survey to students the week commencing 10th November 2025.

What happened with last year’s survey results?

We are listening to what staff and students across the University have to say about their digital experiences and what improvements they would like to see from the 2024/2025 Jisc Digital Experience Insights Survey.

Over 500 colleagues and students responded to the survey and provided responses around the convenience of digital technologies in their work and accessing online platforms and services off campus.

Professional Services colleagues generally felt that the use of digital technologies in their work was convenient and rated the quality of their digital working experience as good or above. While this year saw a lower response rate from staff involved in the delivery of teaching and learning, those responding mostly agreed that the University supports them to access online platforms and that their digital technologies are convenient.

Find out what staff and students told us and how we’re supporting meaningful changes below:

How did this compare to 2023/24?

Overall, professional services responses showed that access off campus improved and confidence in data handling rose. Raising awareness around available support and recognition for digital skills development remains necessary.

What’s next?
