You are being invited to take part in a pilot study to explore how you began to view yourself as an unpaid carer and what did or did not help you to do so. The study aims to explore the experiences of carers who identify themselves as carers with the aim of developing an understanding of carer self-identification, from the perspectives of carers, and is being conducted as part of a PhD project.
The pilot study will help to refine the interview questions for the main study which will be conducted after this study. Before you decide whether to take part, it is important for you to understand why the research is being conducted and what it will involve.
