Using different methods for measuring noise exposure and its impact on hearing health

We are looking for healthy adults to take part in a study investigating the accuracy of different methods of measuring noise exposure and its relationship to hearing health. This study is part of a Masters research programme at the University of Manchester. Participation is entirely online and takes approximately 2 hours total over 3 sessions, spread out over a maximum period of one week. All experiments will be conducted online.

 

To be eligible for inclusion in this study, participants must:

  • Be aged 18-40 years
  • Have no history of hearing difficulties, ear surgery, ear infections, or serious head injury
  • Be able to complete online materials in English
