Female participants needed for menopause and skin ageing research

We would like to learn more about how the skin composition and stiffness change with age and menopause.

Healthy female, White Caucasian volunteers aged 18-28 or 45-55 with no history of skin disease required.

You will be required to complete an online questionnaire and attend an appointment at Salford Royal Hospital, where you will undergo skin measurements on your forearm and have three skin biopsies taken.

You will be compensated for your time.

Some of the exclusions include:

• History of hormonal disorders (e.g. PCOS, thyroid disease)
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Existing significant (moderate / severe) skin disease such as eczema or psoriasis
