The Lunchtime Singers are back at AMBS

23 Apr 2026

Did you know that singing has been shown to reduce stress, enhance cognition, memory and focus and strengthen the immune system. Furthermore, singing in a group can create a sense of belonging and shared purpose, a welcome antidote to isolation and loneliness.

Led by the wonderful Ollie Mills, the singing group is open to all, irrespective of perceived ability and has the sole aim of reducing tension, providing an outlet for emotions and enhancing the sense of community.

The Lunchtime Singers meet every Thursday lunchtime (during term time) from 12.15-1pm in The Mill (ground floor next to Cafe 65) and everyone is welcome.

To find out more, please email elaine.clark@manchester.ac.uk or turn up on Thursday in The Mill at 12.15pm.

We look forward to welcoming you there!
