Equality and Diversity

At Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that provides equality of opportunity for all staff and students. Our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee (EDI) plays a crucial role in promoting these values throughout the School.

Established in 2015, the EDI Committee's primary goal is to promote a culture of inclusivity and fairness by identifying and addressing barriers to equality for both staff and students.

The committee works to support the professional and academic development of all members of our community, ensuring that policies and practices reflect our commitment to equity and inclusion.

The committee is chaired by George Voulgaris the Director of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at AMBS.

AMBS was awarded the Athena SWAN Silver Charter in January 2025, officially recognising our commitment to gender equality and the representation and progression of women in academia.
