Chris’ research areas include facilitated modelling for problem solving and supply chain sustainability, and he has been involved in the delivery of the MBA at AMBS since 2018. Chris also taught teaching Operations and Supply Chain Management to the Full-Time MBA cohort in 23/24.

Internationalisation Lead

Joao is a Chaired Professor in Operations Management and has taught at undergraduate, masters and MBA levels, including executive education in Brazil, The Netherlands, and the UEA.
Joao is interested in sustainable and closed-loop supply chains. More recently, he has diversified his research portfolio to include topics such as sociably responsible supply chains.

Academic Director of Executive Education
Bryan Lukas: bryan.lukas@manchester.ac.uk
Bryan is Academic Director of Executive Education and responsible for the strategic direction and development of the AMBS Executive Education portfolio. He is also a Professor of Marketing.
Executive Education at AMBS is a combined academic and commercial division with close to 100 staff members. Commercial operations cover custom, open, and apprenticeship programmes.

PGR Director
Lloyd C. Harris: lloyd.harris@manchester.ac.uk
Lloyd is a Professor of Marketing and his research interests include HR Management and culture. His teaches Distance Learning MBA, Executive MBA and undergraduate modules.
Lloyd serves on the editorial and advisory boards of several academic and practitioner-focused journals and is an active member of the American Marketing Association, ServSig, RACRS, the Academy of Marketing Science, the (British) Academy of Marketing and E.M.A.C.

UG Director

Jonathan is a Senior Lecturer in Enterprise at Manchester Enterprise Centre (MEC). He teaches enterprise and entrepreneurship and has developed a range of enterprise units and modules which are taught across the University at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Director of Postgraduate Teaching (PGT)
Manuel Lopez-Ibanez: manuel.lopez-ibanez@manchester.ac.uk
Manuel is a Senior Lecturer in Management Science and a member of the Decision and Cognitive Sciences Research Centre.
He is responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of teaching, learning and student experience across PGT programmes, including PGDip and MSc programmes.
Manuel's research interests lie in decision science, operational research and artificial intelligence, in particular solving mathematical optimisation problems with multiple conflicting objectives and their applications in logistics and manufacturing.
In his role as PGT Director, Manuel reports to Anna Goatman.

Full-Time MBA Director
Marie Dutordoir: marie.dutordoir@manchester.ac.uk
Marie is a Professor of Finance and her research interests lie in corporate finance. Her work deals with corporate securities issuance, mergers and acquisitions, the impact of short selling on corporate finance decisions, and corporate social responsibility. Marie is also interested in the interface between finance and other business disciplines (e.g., accounting, marketing and supply chain management).
She teaches corporate finance topics and research methods to UG, MSc, MBA, PhD, and Executive Education students.
Marie reports into Stuart Hyde and Anna Goatman.

Global MBA Director
Xavier Duran: xavier.duran@manchester.ac.uk
Xavier is responsible for the strategic direction of MBA programmes and the development and delivery of transnational education (TNE). Xavier also works with colleagues in all parts of the business school to coordinate the development and delivery of TNE activity.
Xavier is passionate about innovation in business and management education and meeting the new demands posed on MBA programmes by technology improvements and a highly dynamic and globalised business environment.
Xavier reports into Mark Healey and Anna Goatman.

Director of Teaching
Anna Goatman: anna.goatman@manchester.ac.uk
Anna has overall responsibility for the strategic and operational aspects of teaching, learning and student experience across undergraduate, MSc, MBA and executive education programmes.
She is also a Principal Fellow of Advance HE and a Senior Lecturer in Marketing. Her research interests lie in services marketing, not-for-profit marketing, social marketing and marketing education.

Jenni Rose: jennifer.rose@manchester.ac.uk
Jenni is a Senior Lecturer and passionate advocate of empowering independent connected learners. The main focus of her teaching is auditing, financial reporting and financial statement analysis, as well as on the MBA.
Jenni also has a significant interest in teaching career adaptability, drive and resilience, personal development and professional skills.

Patricia Perlman-Dee: patricia.perlman-dee@manchester.ac.uk
Patricia is a Senior Lecturer in Finance, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ) and a ABNLP qualified Master Coach and NLP Master Practitioner. She has created, authored and teaches on a range of courses and has extensive experience in the finance sector.

Director of Social Responsibility
Javed Siddiqui: javed.siddiqui@manchester.ac.uk
Javed is a Professor of Accounting. His research interests include auditing, corporate governance and CSR reporting, especially in the context of developing economies.
He is responsible for our ongoing commitment to make a positive difference to society and the environment through our teaching, research, public engagement and day-to-day operations.
