Two updates for colleagues to be aware of
1. Microsoft 365 Backup Service: extra protection for your files and emails
A new Microsoft 365 Backup Service is now available to help you recover lost files or emails – even if they’re no longer in your Recycle Bin. Check out our Staffnet piece for more information on how you can request the restoration of deleted data for up to 13 months, and why this new functionality matters.
2. Change to visibility of line manager information
Over the next few weeks, colleagues will be able to see line manager information directly in Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook and Teams. Currently, this information is only available in MyView. Making line manager information visible will streamline approvals and reviews, reduce the need to chase for confirmation, and minimise reliance on central teams.
